Peter Vole's dream is to become a painter at a famous art school in Paris.
While his best friend, Simon Mouse, is travelling to Paris to help with the preparations, shy Peter is robbed by a tramp at the station. He spends his last pennies on a ticket for the night train to Paris, only to get on the wrong train amidst the hustle and bustle. As soon as he sees the sunny city by the sea, he can only utter one sentence: 'Paris didn't look like that on the postcard!'
Alone in an unknown city, what will our hero do?
This unexpected adventure is full of surprises and important lessons!
